I’ve just made the ListifyApp I’ve been working on for a while public. It offers a simple way of creating…wait for it…drum roll…LISTS. Yes you heard correct, it gives you the ability to create lists. You can add “items” to these lists. Ok never mind it’s a bloody Todo list application, I admit.
So why the heck would I create something like this, these things grow on trees and they are bundled as tutorials with most web frameworks these days. The answer is simple I suppose. I wanted to learn backbone.js and find out how to use MongoDB with Java. Overall, mission accomplished, the app also uses the Rift framework built by Wireweb.
You might also notice the very nice look and feel, of course I’m not responsible for that bit, I’m not that creative. I’ve simply used Twitter Bootstrap for that.
Back to the app now, the clever bit about the Listify App is that when you create a new list, it will give you a two links to it, a read only link and a write access link. You can share these with friends, family, colleagues or even enemies, what do I care, anyway it’s brilliant.
Why don’t you just head over there now and create your self a list or two.
